There’s no better place to stay than American River, Kangaroo Island

Farmers Market

First Sunday each month you can enjoy local produce and meet the locals at the market. Location: Lloyd Collins Reserve, Penneshaw.

Flowers

I wanted to say how wonderful the flowers are, your garden at the cottage  is beautiful and the wild flowering gums around are magnificent.

What They Say!

Chris & Linda say:

Lovely cottage with everything you need and in a beautiful quiet water side location. The owners have paid attention to details and it shows. From the fresh limes and vase of fresh herbs for the seafood or lamb to the vue towels and clean BBQ, the details made all the difference. We also arrived a day early due to a mistake we made in our bookings but the owners and people looking after the cottage didn’t bat an eyelid and accommodated us with politeness and professionalism. Everything worked, was spotlessly clean and comfortable. A morning coffee looking out over the bay was sensational and we didn’t want to leave the cottage each day to tour the island due to the relaxed atmosphere and location. The only criticism is that we didn’t book for a week or two instead of three nights. We will next time.
